Training

The educational project and the general objectives of the SPEF Doctorate

The educational project of the SPEF doctorate is deeply rooted in the pedagogical area and gathers the rich heritage of the Padovan pedagogical school, adapting its educational proposal to the great challenges of the present time. The SPEF Doctoral Program is focused on identifying quality pathways in the field of higher education and is committed to developing epistemologically founded theoretical models and appropriate methodologies for research training in educational and pedagogical contexts. To this end, it benefits from the contribution of all the SSDs pertaining to the pedagogical area, trying to integrate them opening up to the contributions of other disciplines within the field of educational sciences (with particular reference to the sociological, psychological, anthropological areas, etc.). The training program of the SPEF doctorate offers two curricula: one (Pedagogical Sciences) that covers the entire area of pedagogical sciences and spans all SSDs, taking into account both specific research paths and more transversal paths, and a second curriculum (Research on inclusion, Well-being and Sustainability in Education) that is more specific, focusing particularly on the themes of inclusion, well-being, and sustainability, considering the broad international debate and — for this reason — is proposed in the vehicular language.
