Every year, the start of a new PhD cycle is a special moment: a meeting of people, ideas, and research paths that intertwine to create a new scientific community.
The Welcome Day of the Doctoral Programme in Educational, Pedagogical and Training Sciences (SPEF) is not just a greeting, but the first step of a shared journey — an opportunity to get to know one another, find orientation, and imagine together the future of educational research, made of passions, challenges, achievements, and deep reflection.
The new PhD students will be welcomed by colleagues from the more advanced cycles, who have designed a programme of activities aimed at intertwining reflection and participation.
Games, dialogues, and discussion moments will offer the chance to explore key themes such as the development of an academic career, experiencing research in everyday life, and building meaningful relationships within the community.
Supervisors will also take part in the event, enriching the day with their expertise and intergenerational perspective, fostering valuable dialogue between different generations of scholars.
The Welcome Day is not only an informative event but an experience of sharing, inclusion, and belonging that marks the beginning of a new journey of research, growth, and collaboration.
We look forward to seeing many of you there,
The Coordination Team, on behalf of the entire community of PhD students and faculty members
